Clubs & Activities

DES Flying Eagles Run Club partners with Kids Run RVA to provide a fun after-school opportunity for Dinwiddie Elementary students in grades 3–5 to be active together. Students run, walk, play, and encourage one another while building healthy habits and teamwork. The club is offered in fall and spring, and students participate in a special one-mile run during each season.

DES Safety Patrols are student leaders who work to keep our building safe. From helping foot traffic flow safely and consistently, to helping monitor hallways and open doors, our Safety Patrols serve our DES community in a wide variety of ways while modelling our Eagle Values.
